RankScan is not designed as a data graveyard. The Insights view identifies which topics, pages, prompts and technical issues are holding back your visibility - and orders the next actions by expected impact. This helps you see what matters first.
How insights are prioritized #
- Impact how strongly the action is expected to improve visibility.
- Effort how much work the implementation is likely to require.
- Affected scope how many pages, topics or prompts are affected.
RankScan uses these factors to calculate a priority order. At the top, you see actions with the strongest expected effect at a reasonable level of effort.
How to work through insights #
1. Open the Insights view. Recommendations are sorted by priority.
2. Open an insight to see the reasoning, affected elements and a concrete next step.
3. Implement the action or assign it to your team.
4. Update the status, for example in progress, done, postponed or ignored, to keep the overview clear.
Alerts complement insights by notifying you when visibility drops or new critical issues appear. You stay informed without checking manually all the time.

Tip #
Work from the top down and set a realistic weekly workload. A few consistently implemented high-impact actions are more valuable than a long open task list.
