RankScan asks five AI assistants, each with web search turned on:
- ChatGPT (OpenAI)
- Perplexity
- Gemini (Google)
- Claude (Anthropic)
- Copilot (Microsoft)
Your plan sets how many you use: Starter 2, Pro 3, Enterprise 4. Choose them in the property settings under Measurement. Claude, Perplexity and Copilot are not switched on by default. You switch them on there yourself.
RankScan sends your prompts every 2 days, and every day during the trial. The setup creates prompts per topic. You can add your own under AI Visibility → Prompts. The guide Write Your Own Prompt Sets shows how.
