Competitors are the reference point for many RankScan values, on Google and in AI answers. The cleaner your list, the more useful comparisons and measures become.

How to add competitors #

Open “Settings” and the “Competitors” tab.

Click “Add Competitor” and enter the website URL. RankScan fills in name and domain.

Leave “Global” on if the competitor applies to all topics.

If it applies only to some topics, choose “Add Topic Override”. Select the topic and “Include” or “Exclude”.

Check the “Suggestions” card below. It lists providers that often rank ahead of you on Google or in AI answers. “Add as competitor” adds them.

How many competitors you can add depends on your plan.
