René Häfliger is a computer scientist and entrepreneur based in Lucerne, Switzerland. He founded RankScan and develops the product. RankScan measures how visible a company is in Google and in AI answers and shows what to do next.
He has led digital projects for more than 20 years. In 2003 he co-founded Frontal AG and ran it until 2018 as co-owner, member of the executive board and board member. Today he is owner and managing director of Klarplan AG and Senior Online Marketing Consultant at Standout. From 2019 to 2022 he taught at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – School of Business.
Online marketing, SEO and marketing automation have been part of his work for many years. He uses AI every day and builds AI applications himself.
Education: Swiss Federal Diploma in Computer Science, Swiss Federal Diploma in Technical Business Administration, three CAS programmes at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Certified in requirements engineering (CPRE), business analysis (IBAE), software testing (ISTQB) and Scrum (PSM).
